This project comes to life through the suggestions and insights of Arteterapia Lab. Silvia conducts her workshops with a unique approach: using simple images to stimulate the imagination of her young participants. Through these images, interactions are born, mental connections are made, and, in a fascinating weave of fantasy, group stories are invented.
Inspired by this idea, Inventastorie was born: a special game. I illustrated around forty subjects that, when combined, create a mosaic where characters, places, and everyday objects meet and blend, giving life to an endless array of new stories. These subjects have been printed on rigid card stock, laminated with a matte finish designed to withstand curious hands, even if moist or covered in chocolate, of the young storytellers.
Each piece of this infinite story is housed in a handmade pouch, carefully crafted by Spazio Artelier, a solidarity workshop in the heart of Alzano Lombardo, where craftsmanship intertwines with human value.
Inventastorie is not just a game; it's a bridge between generations, a moment of sharing and discovery, where young and old can come together and let their imaginations flow. It is not only a means to interact with children but also a way to train memory, recalling the names of illustrated subjects and fostering a love for storytelling.
Suitable from 18 months, Inventastorie finds its fullest expression in children aged 3 to 99 years because imagination knows no age. The cards can be chosen or randomly drawn from the pouch, and each game is a new adventure ready to be lived. What truly matters is letting go, unleashing creativity, and crafting stories that speak to the heart of both the creator and the listener.
