Progettazione di un logo per 14, un’enoteca-birreria tranquilla e genuina a Pedrengo, in provincia di Bergamo. Il Concept di progetto era dare rilievo ai due prodotti principali che vengono serviti, cioè l’ottimo vino e la birra artiginale. Esaminando alcuni schizzi con Francesca, la titolare, insieme ad un bicchiere di rosso e ad una bruschetta, si è convenuto che la bozza qui sotto fosse quella giusta da cui partire:

Designing a logo for 14, a quiet and genuine wine-bar in Pedrengo, Bergamo. The concept of design was to highlight the two main products that are served, that are excellent wine and artisan beer. I’ve Examined some sketches with Francesca, the owner, along with a glass of red wine and a bruschetta, and we agreed that the draft below was the right one to choose:

La bozza, scansionata e vettorializzata è stata poi analizzata ed aggiustata, per fare in modo che i pesi degli elementi si riequilibrassero tra loro. Qui il “prima e dopo” della seconda fase progettuale.

Anche se fino ad ora si è lavorato in bianco e nero, i colori son stati, fin dal principio, un elemento fondante di questo logo: l’idea era quella di fare miscelare tra loro il vino e birra all’interno del bicchiere e fare nascere 14 dal loro movimento morbido. Tutto è sempre stato diviso in 3 parti: il colore del vino, quello della birra e il mix tra i due. Qui sotto la versione definitiva del logo sia positiva che negativa. Nella versione positiva la birra si fonde con il vino rosso, mentre in quella negativa, con il vino bianco.

Even though till now the images are in black and white, the colors have been, from the beginning, a fundamental element of this logo: the idea was to mix wine and beer in the glass and make born 14 out of their soft movement. Everything has always been divided into 3 parts: the color of wine, the one of beer and the mix between the two. Below the final version of the logo in positive and negative. In the positive version beer brews with red wine, in the negative instead, with the white wine.
