Questo progetto è una “revisione” della Fiaba popolare: “Cappuccetto Rosso”.Qui la storia ha uno sviluppo e un finale diversi: il cupolupo, che rappresenta il personaggio cattivo della storia classica, perde il suo ruolo malvagio e diviene un simpatico e impaurito animaletto, che appena vede che Cappuccetto Rosso mostra attenzione nei suoi confronti, scappa, sperando di riuscire a “mettersi in salvo” dalla bambina. La storia dal motto “perchè non sempre il lupo è il cattivo della storia” tende a sfatare questa visione del lupo come un animale malefico, che in realtà non è pericoloso come sembrerebbe ed è anche a rischio estinzione.

This project is new version of the tale “Little Red Riding Hood” versions made famous by Charles Perrault and the Brothers Grimm. Here the story has a unusual development and a different end: the dark wolf, which represents the bad of the classic story, it loses its evil role and becomes a friendly and frightened animal, which just run away from Red Hood and hoping to “save themselves” from the child. The story with the promo “the wolf isn’t always the bad of the story” wants to dispel this vision of the wolf as an evil animal, which actually is not dangerous as it may seem and is also endangered. My project of fairy tales will dampen and even “reverse” the clichés of good and evil that are part of our culture.

Questo progetto è la reinterpretazione grafica della Fiaba di Perrault: “il Gatto con gli stivali”. Il mio obiettivo è quello di rendere comprensibile questa meravigliosa storia attraverso le pure immagini, che in sequenza illustrano tutto lo svolgersi della vicenda, mantenendo come filo conduttore tra le diverse scene le variazioni cromatiche. La lettura “simbolica” continua di immagini e colori permette al bambino di interagire con i personaggi della fiaba e comprenderla e allo stesso tempo di sviluppare il suo senso cromatico

This project is a graphic interpretation of the famous Perrault’s tale “Puss in Boots”. The idea is creating a completly graphic book understandable just from images and few graphic symbols. There are some words (shorts dialogues through characters) at the bottom for a better understanding. A sequence of colors takes softly the readers from the start to the end of the tale. The symbolic reading is uninterrupted and makes the child interact with the story’s funny characters and in the same time is an approach to enrich his chromatic sense.
