L’idea di progetto è realizzare una sedia interamente dedicata alla lettura e al relax in legno curvato, elegante, leggera, ma allo stesso tempo comoda e funzionale: una sedia ergonomica da utilizzare come chaise longe nella zona giorno.
“Buonanotte”, il nome della sedia,nasce dall’interazione tra sedia e luce: nella struttura c’è un alloggiamento circolare per la lampada a stelo; se la luce viene spenta e la lettura è finita si può passare allo step successivo, ovvero azionare un meccanismo che ruota la posizione della seduta e concilia il riposo. La forma della sedia richiama quella di una culla, qualcosa di molto morbido, curvilineo ed armonioso. I materiali sono semplici, la base è in legno di ciliegio o in rovere sbiancato curvato e il rivestimento in pelle naturale o stoffa con grosse cuciture irregolari.
L’altezza della lampada è di 140cm con la possibilità di estenderla telescopicamente di altri 20cm. Il cambio del punto di rotazione della seduta,che slitta di circa 30° sull’asse x e y, è azionato da due bottoni che sbloccano il fissaggio della sedia e ne permettono il movimento. Per lo spegnimento della luce c’è un simpatico interruttore a catenella che scende dalla lampada.

“Goodnight ,” the name of the chair, arises from the interaction between the chair and the light: in the structure there is a circular place for the standard lamp and if the light is turned off and the reading is over, you can act on a mechanism that rotates the position of the seat and allow you to rest. The shape of the chair is reminiscent of a cradle, something very soft, curved and harmonious. The materials are simple, the base is made ​​of cherry wood or light oak, curved and covered in leather or fabric with big natural uneven seams.
The height of the lamp is 140cm with the possibility of telescopically extend it other 20cm. The change of the point of rotation of the seat, which slides of about 30° on the axes x and y, is driven by two buttons that unlock the fastening of the seat and allow the movement. To turn off the light there is a switch that goes from the lamp to pull down.
